I'll be having surgery. Not gonna share too much about why...let's just say it's been a long time comin'! I'm having a partial hysterectomy and due to some issues, like an ovarian cyst, my dr. has chosen to do this abdominally. I'm happy to finally have a dr. listen to me and offer a solution, which is actually the solution I'd hoped for...but I'm starting to freak out a little. I'll be in the hospital from Friday morning til sometime Sunday. I won't be able to drive for 2 weeks and the recovery is approximately 6 weeks. I'm blessed with wonderful friends and neighbors who are already making a schedule to take turns bringing meals, babysitting Gracie, and just checking on me in general because Chris will only be able to stay home with me the first week and everybody tells that there's no way I can care for Gracie by myself at first. I thank God for seeing a need and finding a way to fill it.
If you think about it, I'd appreciate your prayers in the next few weeks. I know that everything will be ok, but a little peace would sure be welcome.

Angie, I'm glad this is getting taken care of but understand your anxiety about it...and, ugh, recovery! Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know. Praying!!!
