So today was a huge day in our little household. Gracie rode the school bus to her first day of kindergarten. She bounced out of bed at 7 a.m., excited to meet her day. She requested a bowl of Cheerios for breakfast and decided that she wanted milk in them, for a change. She then put on her new clothes and, for the next 45 minutes asked if it was time to walk to the bus yet. Mommy took some pictures with her iPhone and then we walked to the corner...where we waited another 20 minutes. The bus was 15 minutes late...my guess is that alot of moms wanted pictures! LOL
Apparently she had a good day...she hasn't stopped talking about it yet. And contrary to what Chris said on his blog...she was a good girl today. She has a folder in her backpack with her disciplinary record in it and today she got an A+. Wait til next week....
It's been a little rougher on Mommy than on Gracie. Mommy looks forward to the new adventures this year will bring, while mourning that her "baby" is now a little girl.
