Time flies...
I just got back from picking up Gracie's registration packet for kindergarten. KINDERGARTEN?? How in the heck did THAT happen?! There's no way she can be that old. Alas, she is. So, I'll fill out the forms, get the birth certificate, citizenship papers, and adoption papers and take them to the board of ed. on Feb. 21st. Then, on August 28th, I'll put her on the school bus for the first time. There's not a doubt in my mind that one of us will be bawling like a baby...and it WON'T be the 4 year old. She'll likely be the youngest in the class because she won't turn 5 until Sept. 26th. *sigh* She might be ready for this, but I know I'm not!

That's just crazy!!! Wasn't it yesterday we were all just waiting on pictures of you bringing her home. WOW!!!

We'll be right there with you Angie! Ours have been in Pre-K at the school though so it may not be quite as hard.
Gracie has been in preschool for 2 years...but there's just something about her getting on a bus and going every day that gets to me.
I found out today that we have our "kindergarten roundup" next week. We'll be registering them for next year! I do admit that we won't have to put them on a bus. Maybe that will make it a little easier! Don't know.
