I recently talked my husband, Chris, into blogging. First at MySpace, and then, since he seemed to have a desire for more traffic, I told him that he should sign up for a blogspot. I've always known that he was much better at the written word than I am. I'm a talker. I can sit forever and talk your ear off...writing...not so much. I'm surprised I have any readers because I know that I'm just not good at this...but I do try. When we were in China, he was in charge of the group emails and everyone loved hearing about the trip as seen through his eyes. Some of them were just hysterical. Especially the ones making fun of me, because they were so spot on.
His post entitled The Story of Grace has generated a couple of really unexpected responses. Two of our friends from YMX have brought up the idea of Chris coming to their respective churches and telling the story in person. One is in California, so sadly, it's a bit out of reach to pull off. The second is only about 4 hours away, and looks like it may actually happen. Chris has preached several times at our home church, but never did I think that he'd "take his show on the road". Who knows where God is leading us with this, but I know that I've been approached by members of our congregation asking when he is planning on entering seminary. He's always said that he didn't think that would happen. I'm not so sure.
If you have time, check out his blog...I have the link on here. Please excuse the spelling...I still haven't had any luck getting him to use a spell check!
