Update

After looking at her records and the vein mapping that's been done, not one doctor in Cincinnati or Columbus will even touch Chris' mom. They're afraid she'll die on the operating table. The good news is that she's being sent to the Cleveland Clinic. Which is exactly what I hoped for anyway. Chris' dad has already applied for a leave of absence under the FAMLA, so he's free to take care of her for the next 12 weeks. Chris' feelings, and I agree with him, are that this is a one-way trip. Neither of us believe she will survive. Again, the good news is that she's a Christian and ready to meet her God. The bad news is that Chris' dad isn't and we fear that this will drive him further away. I just pray that IF she doesn't, he doesn't push us all away. Please pray with and for us.
