Here we go again!

Chris and I have decided that Gracie should have a little sister. Bet that got your attention! We are now on a disrupted adoption list through Children's Hope International. Basically what this means is that someone who adopted a child internationally has decided that they cannot parent the child. Apparently it's fairly common. Anywhere from 1 to 1-1/2% of all international adoptions through CHI alone end in disruption. That's where we come in. We have decided that since we can't go back to China, we'll expand our family this way. We prefer China, but will take any child offered to us...it makes no difference to us. We are also open to sibling groups. So we may be adopting more than one. We want girls, but will accept a girl and a boy, as long as they aren't older than Gracie. It's very important to us that she be the oldest child. We don't think it's fair to her to suddenly be the youngest after being the only for 3 years. We know that there will be attachment and bonding issues, but we think we can overcome all that. We just want another child to love and bless our home.
